The most important thing is a very accurate diagnosis of the child. Once it is known, it is necessary to take advantage of the child's ability to cope with difficulties. The teacher should draw knowledge about the student from a variety of sources, including but not limited to: the judgment or opinion of the psychologist/pedagogue, information provided by parents, information from specialists, such as, for example, an educator or psychologist, various publications and trainings. The next step in working with such a student is to adapt the conditions to his or her capabilities. What it may consist of? Among other things, on adjusting the way of communication to his capabilities, keeping the right distance, other forms of activity than in the case of other students. Dividing the material into smaller parts or reducing the number of tasks to be completed is also a good way to do it. In the case of students with special educational needs, you also need to use additional teaching and technical resources. Such measures can be, for example, the previously mentioned Eduklocks method.

The Educlocks method, as the name suggests, is based on educating with blocks. With blocks, children with special educational needs can learn by doing. For this method, you can use construction-education blocks, such as: Morphun, Loowi, or Little Architect. To use the eduklocks method, you need a teacher and a child. It teaches them new things through action and discovery. Its task is also to personalize the educational process. It relies on the student himself choosing what he wants to learn. This method is based on neurodidactics. This allows the child to ask his own questions and seek solutions. The last very important thing about the eduklocks method is that the child learns as naturally as possible. This makes it absorb knowledge faster and more readily. Learning through play is a good way to help children with special educational needs overcome everyday school difficulties.
