Appreciate

The personality of our child, we build from the first moments of his life, and according to some, even during pregnancy by transmitting our own emotions to him. So every choice and decision made throughout a toddler's childhood counts. Also important is the approach to its failures and successes. Some parents try to motivate their child by letting him know that his successes so far are not enough and believe that he can afford to do more. However, this form, probably dictated by good intentions, can have a very bad effect on the child's psyche. It may feel that it is never good enough, and thus, contrary to its intentions, become discouraged from challenges. So it is worth remembering, to praise our child as often as possible. Appreciating his actions and efforts will help build his confidence and awareness that he can succeed. Of course, praise should also be wise. So let's appreciate the child's successes when he succeeds, or efforts when he fails, encouraging further attempts.

Give challenges

In order for a child to develop reactions to successes and failures, he or she must have opportunities to do so. Sitting passively at the TV or tablet will not have much opportunity to praise them. So let's make sure that our child's forms of play give him opportunities to test himself and develop. This will be helped by the selection of appropriate games and toys. Games involving petty competition, or toys that help exercise patience, precision and coordination will work great for this. A good example of such toys are building blocks for children. Made of plastic, or blocks of wood or foam. The most popular, that is, plastic blocks provide opportunities to create complex structures. Building a durable and interesting building with blocks is the perfect training for our toddler's perseverance. When he succeeds, we have the opportunity to praise his talent and skills. In case of failure, show him that it is enough to try again and encourage him to keep trying. With proper motivation and wise praise, our child will be aware of his/her strengths and learn to turn failures into successes.
