Seemingly trivial activity carries serious consequences - malfunction of these cells can result in inability to feel empathy. Thus, it is a necessary activity for the child, which at the same time is completely natural and spontaneous. So it is worth stimulating these inclinations by offering toddlers to build based on instructions, while taking care of balanced and proper development. Of course, it is extremely attractive and educational to construct your own buildings, but there is no need to value these ways of playing. Both methods complement each other perfectly.
Advantages of building with blocks based on instructions
In the modern world, one can observe an intensification of communication through images, as evidenced, for example, by the popularity of emoticons. Young children are able to associate symbols and names, recognizing images such as logos, even if they do not yet have the ability to read. Building on instructions stimulates and develops these competencies in preparation for learning to read. Through such play, the child will learn to read patterns more efficiently, which is extremely important even during daily routine activities. Better orientation in the modern world results in greater independence when children come to navigate public spaces. By completing the various stages of construction and collecting the appropriate blocks, the child learns how to plan work, count, and recognize shapes and colors. Mapping out structures develops spatial imagination. Correctly reading the diagram and executing it requires patience, concentration and consistency. Usually these competencies cause problems for children, however, thanks to the fact that playing with blocks is spontaneous and the individual parts are visually appealing, any difficulties are overcome. Successfully completed construction based on instructions boosts confidence. Gradually completing increasingly difficult projects will give children courage when they come to face the next challenges. However, it is a mistake to force a child only to follow instructions "correctly". Properly stimulated, a young person can make interesting improvements in construction, combining task work with creative. These skills will be very useful both at school and at work. The instructions are an excellent training and starting point for self-building. So they can be an introduction to playing with blocks, but will also be useful for more advanced builders. Each model board is a new portion of ideas and inspiration.
How to use the building instructions
The plans vary in level and are tailored to different ages and abilities. It is easy to tailor instructions to the particular abilities of children. Most sets have accompanying diagrams to get you started playing and learning the characteristics of the blocks in question. The boards include both simple two-dimensional constructions and slightly more difficult three-dimensional ones. Despite the fact that most sets of bricks have a large number of proposals for construction, it is worth reaching for additional instructions containing new layouts. They will make play more interesting and allow children to rediscover the elements they have. Construction diagrams are tailored to specific sets and types of blocks. Since one of the main tasks of such a plan is to inspire children to do their own explorations, it will ignite in them the desire to design and create. In order to most effectively encourage children to use the instructions and make the creation process more enjoyable, they were printed on high-quality paper and feature rich colors and detail. Clear and logical layout make it easy for the child to focus on building.
